BCGC Summer Camp - Session 1 SENIORS

Service Description

Session 1: July 14th -18th, Daily, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm SENIORS (students entering grades 6th – 8th) They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so art has to be worth a million! But how does one create art that tells a story? How do storytellers incorporate art? To find out, join us for The Art of Storytelling, a week-long summer camp where campers will discover how they can use art to weave powerful narratives. Through hands-on experiences in various artistic mediums, participants will create and share their own unique stories. Our campers will also enjoy adventures in Switchyard Park, storytelling sessions on Indiana University's campus, and a final gallery show to showcase their creations to the public. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to blend creativity and storytelling!​​​​ ​​​​​ ​ Arts activities will be interspersed with lots of fun and games outside at Switchyard Park, right next to the BCGC facility.  BCGC will provide a morning and afternoon snack, but campers are expected to provide their own lunches.
