Service Description
Learn how to (literally) stretch your glass with flow designs and schedules! In this class, you will learn how to setup different types of flowed designs using accessory glass such as frit and stringers. Each student will make one (1) 6” flowed piece, choosing between either a 6” square or a 6” circle. In the first class, we will cover how to arrange your setup to get different designs and then create the glass ‘toppers’ that will be tack fused and then form the top layer of your flowed piece in a second firing. In the second class, we will prep the flow piece and cover firing schedules, firing glass in dams, and loading the kiln with the flow setups. In the final class, students will learn to cold work the edges of the piece and load the kiln for a fire polish. (Pieces could then be slumped for students who want it to be a bowl or plate). Prerequisite: Introduction to Glass Fusing Ages: 16+

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel please email us at Create@BCGCglass.org and let us know. If you have to cancel last minute, call or text (812)345-2470. We do not offer cash refunds. Cancellations will receive a credit, valid for one year, that can be applied to other classes and events. If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for the full class tuition will be issued. If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, no refund will be given. There will be no refund or credit if you are a no show or if you stop attending a multi-day day course part of the way through.
